Bley Pottery - Functional Pottery & Face Jugs
Our New Blog Site is Here

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!

These two jugs have been under tight security this month, due to them both being unexpected christmas presents.

Mack's jug is a large devil jug with a set of not too typical horns.  He's glazed in a dark brown that finished with a very low gloss...really nice jug.

Ragzs woke up Christmas morning to find his own face in a box...not the best suprise if you ain't had some coffee.

I normally will take a pass when asked to do a "real person"...but with a face like that how could I say no?  Word has come down that he loved it...cool... now I don't have to worry so much  when I hear a chopper behind me.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your holiday happiness.  I'm overjoyed you liked the jugs.

Thanks for Visiting Bley Pottery

I enjoy making functional handcrafted pottery that is equally at home on the dinner table or displayed.  My pottery is greatly inspired by the southern mountain folk potters and works well with almost any rustic, country, or lodge setting.  My favorite finishing colors are earth tones, greens and blues.  All the functional pottery I make is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe.

I also enjoy making face jugs.  The
 amount of creativity and
uniqueness that can be poured into these
 pieces are almost limitless.

I love a challenge, please contact me if
you are interested in commissioning a
a one of a kind, unique, handmade piece.
Handmade pottery (or handmade any-
thing for that matter) makes a special
gift that will be treasured for years.
